KDA IR Federal Credit Union and KDA Holdings Unveil Plans for a New Facility

ATLANTA, GA - ATLANTA, August 11, 2003 – IR Federal Credit Union has partnered with KDA Holdings to develop and build a new main office facility in the Washington Business Park in Lanham, Maryland. The new two-story, 28,200 sq. ft. facility will feature multiple drive-up lanes and a remote teller system. In addition to administrative services, the office will house a retail branch and call center.

IR Federal Credit Union first partnered with KDA in 2000 to perform a main office feasibility study. KDA’s real estate division then helped locate a geographically desirable 3-acre lot for the facility and acquired the site for IR Federal. Additionally, KDA will design and construct the new facility.

“Our new headquarters will be a tremendous asset for our members. The spacious new lobby and extended hours will provide added convenience and improved access to the complete range of services IR Federal offers,” said IR Federal Credit Union CEO Dave Bunch. “KDA has presented us with a timeless, classic design that incorporates state-of-the-art technology.”

With the completion of the new office IR Federal will be able to consolidate employees from other locations. The credit union currently has four branches serving the Washington, DC area.
