Carolina Health Specialists (CHS) is a multi-specialty group of 35 physicians providing on-going and acute medical care in family medicine, internal medicine, critical care/emergency medicine, pulmonology, endrocrinology and rheumatology.

CHS selected KDA Holdings to develop a network of primary care centers in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. In addition to its two centers in the neighboring towns of Conway and Socastee, CHS also occupies a major portion of the Medical Complex at 82nd Parkway in Myrtle Beach, which was developed in partnership with Cardiology/Gastroenterology Associates. KDA served as the consult/design/build firm for all three facilities, completed within a few months of each other between late 1998 and early 1999.

The CHS facilities were specifically designed to support efficient and effective primary care services in a comfortable setting. KDA provided a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of this diverse group with unique design features at each location. Those services included project development consulting and financing, space planning, site development, design, planning for future expansions and construction management.
