KDA Announces Grand Opening of First Guaranty Point Meadows
ATLANTA, GA – January 31, 2003 – KDA Holdings, Inc. is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of First Guaranty Bank and Trust Company’s newest branch office in the Point Meadows area of Jacksonville, FL. The new 3,778 square foot facility, designed and built by KDA, is First Guaranty’s sixth full-service branch office in Jacksonville. It is also First Guaranty’s first office in what is known as the ‘south side’ of Jacksonville. The new office opened for business on December 23, 2002.
The traditional brick building features a “shangle” roof, a more aesthetically appealing shingle treatment that is accented by shadow lines, giving an authentic, natural look with true depth and dimension. KDA also found and installed a 77-year-old “classic” vault door that was originally housed in a California-based bank. Original art by famous local artist John Bunker adorns the interior of the facility.

This is KDA’s fourth project with First Guaranty, and KDA incorporated design elements from First Guaranty’s other branch offices in order to create brand awareness and visual recognition within the community. Exterior brick for the project is the same brick type used on the bank’s Ortega branch and the design style coordinated strongly with the Argyle branch.
