KDA FINANCIAL ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
Key Appointments to Support Company’s Strategic Growth Initiatives

JULY 11, 2001 – ATLANTA, GA – KDA Financial, a professional services firm specializing in growth and profitability strategies for financial institutions, today announced the appointment of three new members to its senior management team. Joining the company are David Bagley, vice president of sales, Julie Bennett, director of marketing, and Cynthia Trimble, director of interior design.

Dave is a seasoned sales executive with 15 years experience in the financial services industry. He clearly understands the needs of our customers and will be instrumental in helping us form strong client relationships and achieve our aggressive sales goals. Julie has a very strong track record in leading the marketing and communications functions for progressive companies in complex markets. She is well equipped to tell the KDA story and build our brand. And, Cindy brings to our company a level of interior design expertise that is unmatched in the industry. She has provided interior design consultation for some of the world’s biggest corporate and retail organizations. Her creative ability and strong management track record make her an excellent fit for KDA.”

Mr. Bagley, a veteran in the financial services market, took over the helm of KDA’s sales organization in March. He comes to KDA from John H. Harland where he served as vice president of sales and director of business development with responsibility throughout the eastern region. With a total responsibility of $65 million in annual revenue, Mr. Bagley led a team of nearly 100 sales professionals and successfully built new sales channels and developed customer retention programs to ensure customer profitability. Before Harland, he was southeastern regional sales manager for Bisys Corporation with revenue responsibility of $110 million. Mr. Bagley has also held sales management positions at Equifax and Buypass Corporation and served as branch manager and associate vice president with Georgia Federal Bank. He earned a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.

Ms. Bennett joined KDA in March to direct the company’s marketing activities. She brings to KDA 16 years of integrated marketing experience from the technology, engineering design and health care sectors. She most recently served as head of public relations for E3 Corporation, a leading supply chain software company, where she was responsible for generating publicity in anticipation of an initial public offering. The company realized a nine-fold increase in media coverage during her first six months on board. Prior to E3, Ms. Bennett was director of marketing for engineering design software firm, SpatialAge® Solutions, where she was responsible for spearheading the company’s branding efforts including advertising, public relations, web site development and all marketing communications activities. Before joining SpatialAge, she was marketing communications manager for medical device manufacturer, Dornier Medical Systems. Ms. Bennett earned a bachelors degree in communications from Kennesaw State University.

Ms. Trimble, a prominent figure in the Atlanta design community, comes to KDA with 18 years experience in interior design. As director of interior design for KDA, Ms. Trimble will be responsible for management of the company’s design department and furniture dealership. Prior to joining KDA in January, Ms. Trimble served as principal, vice president and director of interior design for leading architectural firm, Niles Bolton Associates where she grew the design department from 8 to 25 designers and expanded its scope of work from one to six markets. Previously, she formed and managed her own design firm, StudioTrimble, Inc., and provided interior design and creative services for an impressive list of clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Airlines, Georgia Power, Hilton Hotels, and Rich’s/Federated Department Stores. In 1995, StudioTrimble merged with architectural firm, MSTSD, where they jointly completed over 20 projects, including the 17-acre International Festival Zone for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. Ms. Trimble served for eight years as an adjunct professor of interior design at the Atlanta College of Art and is on the advisory committees for the Georgia Tech School of Architecture, The University of Georgia, and The Atlanta College of Art. She earned bachelors degrees from both Emory University and Rhode Island School of Design.
