KDA Holdings Concludes Recent Acquisition by Launching New KDA Healthcare Division
KDA Holdings Healthcare Division Establishes Design/Build Industry Leadership With Simmonds Integration

ATLANTA, July 15, 2002 - KDA Holdings, Inc., a design/build leader specializing in financial and healthcare markets, today announced that business integration related to its three-year old acquisition of Simmonds Healthcare is complete, culminating with the launch of a new name and identity. Effective today, the 30-year old healthcare organization will assume the name of its parent company, KDA Holdings.

When KDA Holdings acquired Simmonds Healthcare in late 1999, focus was set on maximizing the investment in people, technology and systems from one of the leading specialists in healthcare design/build since 1972. Success of these integration efforts and other organic growth initiatives is demonstrated, in part, by KDA Holdings' 55 percent increase in revenue for 2001.

Recently, KDA Holdings has completed a major healthcare design/build project on behalf of Physicians East, P.A. located in Greenville, North Carolina, representing a 104,000 sq. ft. multi-specialty group practice facility that supports more than 50 physicians with drive up access to each of four major specialty areas. KDA provided comprehensive services, including project programming, space planning, design, architecture, fast-track construction, and overall project management.
