KDA Holdings Executive Hires Have More Than 50 Years Healthcare & Design/Build Experience

ATLANTA, July 15, 2002 - KDA Holdings, Inc., a full service developer of ambulatory medical facilities, today announced it has expanded the management ranks of its healthcare division with two new executives. Separately today, KDA Holdings announced the launch of a new name and identity for its healthcare division following the integration of healthcare design/build industry leader Simmonds Healthcare.

Senior Healthcare Planner, William Wakefield, and Regional Director, John Friedel, join the KDA Holdings healthcare team, headquartered in Atlanta, where they bring a combined total of 50 years healthcare design/build experience.

Mr. Wakefield has over 35 years experience in strategic, business, and development planning for hospitals, physician practice groups, and health networks, where he has been involved in developing nearly 2 million square feet of healthcare facilities nationwide. Mr. Wakefield comes to KDA Holdings from Stevens and Wilkinson of Georgia, a regional architectural and engineering firm.

Mr. Friedel brings over 16 years of progressive healthcare industry experience to KDA, where he has consulted extensively with large physician groups, hospitals and health systems on a variety of healthcare facility projects. Mr. Friedel comes to KDA Holdings from Genesis Healthcare Consulting Associates, a healthcare consulting firm.
