KDA Celebrates Allegacy Whitaker Square Grand Opening
“CU Relax” Introduces a New Concept in Banking

ATLANTA, GA – July 7, 2003 – KDA Holdings is pleased to announce the opening of Allegacy Federal Credit Union’s newest financial center in the Whitaker Square Shopping Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Located at 1985 North Peace Haven Road, the 2,835 square-foot storefront branch extends Allegacy’s network to 12 service centers throughout Winston-Salem and 3 locations in New York and New Jersey. Among other innovative features, Whitaker Square offers a personal greeter station, an interactive lounge and coffee bar, plasma screen multimedia displays, and a 24/7 service vestibule that allows members to perform a range of account activities day or night.

In addition to its design and construction, KDA was chosen to develop and implement Whitaker’s in-store branding and retail merchandising systems. Drawing on the retail programming and graphic design expertise of long-time creative partner, Adrenaline, Inc., an Atlanta-based advertising agency, KDA used Allegacy’s existing identity to create fresh visual and verbal messaging platforms. The updated look was applied to all graphic communications components inside the new branch, including institutional, product and service and promotional signage as well as wallpaper and soffit surrounds.

A dominant element of the credit union’s revamped branding efforts is a unique and innovative concept called “CU Relax.” Created to deliver members one-on-one service in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, Allegacy’s “CU Relax” concept promises:

· A smiling staff person who greets and personally escorts you to the appropriate service station or representative;

· An inviting and comfortable reception area where you can enjoy freshly baked cookies and listen to favorite songs on a jukebox;

· An “open” financial center concept where each staff member provides you personal attention throughout your visit.
