NASSAU EDUCATORS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BREAKS GROUND ON NEW MAIN OFFICE FACILITY
Premier Roosevelt Raceway Location Provides Improved Access and Added Convenience for Members

JUNE 4, 2001 - VALLEY STREAM, NY, ATLANTA, GA - Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union, Valley Stream, New York, today announced that it has begun development of a new, state-of-the-art main office facility. The three-story, 50,000 square foot building, scheduled for completion in the fall of 2002, will become the organization's new main office and fifth branch.

The new building will be located at the site of the former Roosevelt Raceway and situated in Nassau County's premier retail and commercial development. The facility will be double the size of Nassau Educators' current main office and is reflective of the extensive growth the credit union has experienced in recent years. The new, centralized location will provide added convenience for and offer a multitude of services to its members. The facility will house member services, executive and administrative offices, call center operations, human resources and employee training facilities.

According to Frank DeMita, Chairman of the Board, Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union, enhanced member service is the primary tenet guiding the design of the facility. "Breaking ground for our new main office signifies the beginning of an exciting new era for our organization," said DeMita. "Our goal has always been to provide the highest level of service for our members, and our new facility will enable us to continue that tradition by providing improved access, convenience and flexibility."

Joe Kassler, Chairman of KDA Financial, a professional services firm providing strategic growth counsel and design/build services for the credit union, said, "Nassau Educators Credit Union has achieved incredible success by staying focused on the needs of its members. They are a highly progressive credit union, and we are delighted to partner with them in the development and implementation of their growth strategies."
